Emergency Closings


North Hanover Township Schools participate in the School Messenger Alert System for Schools. When severe weather or other emergency conditions exist (power loss, etc.), parents will be notified through the schools Instant Alert System. This system will notify parents of any changes to the regular school day, such as closings, delayed openings or early dismissals by notifying the parents with a telephone call to their phone number on file. Parents may elect to add additional numbers or e-mail notification as well. Notice will also be posted on the North Hanover Township Schools web site at
