Principal's Corner

Birthday Lunch Bunch

Dear C.B. Lamb School Community,

I want to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about my educational journey. I graduated from La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, PA, and then attended La Salle University.  After I graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American History, I taught fifth through eighth grade science at St. James Elementary School in Elkins Park and enrolled in Holy Family University's Elementary Teacher Certification Program.

Upon graduating in 1998, I spent eight years teaching 5th grade in the Cinnaminson School District. In addition to teaching, I was also the head rowing coach for La Salle University from 1999 - 2001. In 2001, I started Temple University's Doctoral Program for Educational Leadership and Policy Study and defended my dissertation in August of 2006. My thesis topic was“How Do Third Grade Teachers in a Middle Socioeconomic School District Meet the Needs of Students Who are At Risk for Learning, Emotional, and/or Behavioral Problems?”

After graduating from Temple, I was hired as the Program Supervisor for the Tabernacle School District. I worked in that role from 2007 - 2009. During the Summer of 2009, I was appointed the Principal of Tabernacle Elementary School. Since 2009, I have provided administrative oversight on curricular initiatives centered on balanced literacy and mathematics, developed an outdoor learning center, started a school garden which provided fresh vegetables for people in need in the surrounding community, guided my school in receiving Silver Certification through the Sustainable Jersey for Schools Program, and created a continuity of instructional techniques and programming across grade levels.  Lastly, I worked with vested stakeholders to create a positive philosophy for educating students that focused on the whole child.

Some of my interests outside of work include traveling, playing guitar, painting, and reading.  I am also a college professor at Temple University and Holy Family University, as well as write for McGraw-Hill.

I am extremely excited to start a new chapter in my life at the North Hanover Township School District.  Furthermore, I look forward to getting to know and collaborate with the school community at C.B. Lamb. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if you have any questions. My email address is
